Accessibility permission is for local detection.

macOS guards Accessibility access because it can expose information on a computer. Meeting Pulse asks for it to inspect supported app states on the owner’s Mac.

What it enables

• Looking for supported meeting states in the owner’s local apps.
• Showing the owner what Station currently knows.
• Failing closed when the state cannot be trusted.

What it does not mean

• It does not publish meeting titles, URLs, or participants to a viewer.
• It does not record audio or video.
• It does not use screenshots, OCR, or Screen Recording.
• It does not replace the owner’s judgment with a guessed “available” state.
